Every once in a while a resident of Washington State is not getting the right response — or any response at all — from a state agency.
Letting the Washington State Governor know about this is often an effective way of getting a response from an agency.
The current Governor (as of June 9, 2025) is Bob Ferguson. This Governor’s website includes (June 9, 2025) a page with this headline:
Request help with state services
The first two sentences state:
Use this form to request assistance with an issue involving a state agency. We will refer the matter to the agency for a response; the agency will usually respond within two weeks.

The form on the page makes ZERO sense in relation to the headline. The form is apparently all about getting a meeting with Governor Ferguson.

It is pretty obvious that NO ONE, including Governor Ferguson, took the time to actually look at the Governor’s website. This reflects poorly on perception and perhaps actual competence.
